Construction Details:

Oh boy. So much happen.

Jacket: Modified asymmetrical jacket pattern. The collar and libra sign were a jerk, but I got some cosplay friends to help me not screw up. Bias taped EVERYTHING. I forewent the jacket lining because I was running out of time before the con... heh.
Skirt: Simple modified skirt pattern, took out panels, more bias tape. I didn't realize the back seams would show (stupid...)so I bias taped that too!

I made the cane from a dowel and a clay self-constructed head with a tinfoil base, then painted everything white. Used some model magic to fill in the gaps when attaching the head to the dowel.

Bought full-body suit from We Love Colors. Bought boots from ebay. Gloves from amazon. (Need to replace, I didn't know they would be silky...) Signless necklace from What Pumpkin.

Personal Thoughts:

THIS WAS MY DREAM COSPLAY! I DID IT! I MADE THE THING!! >:] I have loved the ancestor designs since I first saw them in the comic, so I've had this on my cosplay to-do list since then. Also, I was in the Detour 2014 Homestuck Ancestors Panel "Let's Go Back to Our Ancestors."
