Construction Details:

The shoulder armor was cut from ABS plastic with a dremel from a pattern I made. Then sanded and primed. I put a layer of metallic silver on top, then began weathering, because it was too shiny.

The chain mail bikini was hand made by me over the course of 2 weeks. I bought little aluminum circles from The Ring Lord, and used pliers to place each ring on pieces of leather. I made all the accessories out of craft foam and glue.

The gloves and boot covers were made from faux leather, then I weathered them with acrylic paint too look battle worn and bloody. The sword is Conan replica from armory online, it's really heavy too!

Personal Thoughts:

I really wanted to be a badass Barbarian woman! I was on the fence about making this costume for a long time. After working on my fitness for months, I decided to go for it. I wanted to be one of the most capable women in comics.

It's really fun to run around with blood and dirt all over and look like I just came from a battle. I want to get a monster head in the future and carry that around as my recent kill :)
