Construction Details:

Ammie provided a glorious pattern that I tried valiantly to use.

Our group ended up using peau de soie for the coloured bits, jumbo white spandex, tiaras from catzia, and capezio dance tights. QD made my gloves. Anatra made my bows (which were interfaced with REALLY heavy interfacing I had lying around from the first fukus we'd made in 2005) and sailor collar. I made the white bathing suit parts for me, QD and Anatra and they took in/adjusted where necessary. We each laboured over those stupid shoulder rolls. I sculpted my brooch out of sculpy and painted. Boot covers were spandex.

The wig was a nightmare of long extensions n crap from cosworx that I can't remember. It's in a dark ash blond that I then airbrushed with yellow paint to get a gold effect. QD helped me out as I died over this wig multiple times by making my earrings for me. I think if I wear it again or use this wig for a casual Usagi outfit I'll use a curling iron on the bangs since they are kinda spiky at the moment.

Making a good looking fuku is hard work =|||

Personal Thoughts:

will probably fix this up and wear again before making something else. Most likely make diff boot covers since I wore super flats in order to be the shortest
