Construction Details:

I used non stretch silk velvet to make the costume.
This was my first time working with velvet and I didn't expect it to be so slippery. The puffed sleeve took awhile to make but thanks to the internet and this great tutorial I was able to make it. I also had to use thick interfacing to make the collar stand up and keep the puffed sleeves from sinking.

Personal Thoughts:

I am really in love with this costume. Probably because pink is my favorite color but it also took a whole lot of pain and effort to make. It was painful but I had a wonderful time making this costume.

Styling Notes

I teased the front of the wig and used Got2B hairspray to keep it up and kept piling the hair on top of one another and I had to cut some of the hair since it was way too long and heavy.
