Some of the awesome people at SacCon were doing lawyers again - only new school this time! But they didn't have an Apollo? I happened to have a bunch of red trigger in my garage - more than enough to make a pair of pants and a vest from! So the only thing I actually bought for this was the buttons for Apollo's vest, the pants zipper, and the satin for my tie. Everything 'cept for the shirt and bracelet is made - even the tie. First time! But it was cool, and I feel like I gained a level from that. My pockets are lined with pink satin from Windofthestars' Otome no Inori Lina Inverse that she was making at the same time - also, I felt it'd be vaguely appropriate. The vest is a frankenpattern of a Simplicity vest with darts and the "lapels" from a McCall's out of print Victorian vest pattern. The badge is paperclay (though I use one now that Kasou made - since he does commissions for them, I like to try to pimp them out!) aaaand the pants are.. a Simplicity pattern, same one I always use when I make fly-front pants. The wig was scary, and special thanks to Rikku for helping me trim the back! The antennae are full of... hair dryer and hair spray, and that's it. I'm surprised it worked, because wigs really scare me XD
