This year my best friend and I were accompanied by our mothers - just because they really wanted to go! (They dressed up as hobbits.) We had so much fun with them, LOL. We entered the masquerade as The Patchwork Girl and Ozma of Oz, and I placed in the Pern costume contest as Lessa.
