Personal Thoughts:

This costume was pretty quick and easy, compared to some of my stuff from last year.

The leotard is made of black spandex with the Yaya Han bodysuit pattern. I added gray loops to the sleeves to help keep them where they needed to be once the gems were on. The tights are light gray from WeLoveColors.com, as are the gloves. The face paint is Snazzaroo in light gray. The cloak was the most challenging part. It's made of gabardine (both shell and lining). I had to draft the hood 3 times before I got a shape I was happy with. The bracelets and boot covers are made of the same gabardine as the cloak. The gems are all resin, set inside curtain grommets I bought at the fabric store. They're backed with black foam, and the belt is made of spandex. The hand and cloak gems have pins on the back so they can pin onto the costume and be easily removed.
