We are super excited to invite cosplayers to walk in our fashion show during E3, the largest videogame convention in the world! NO E3 BADGE REQUIRED! We'll be posting pictures of participants on CraveOnline and users can go check out all of the pictures on CraveOnline. The ultimate Cosplayer, voted by the internet, will have their own photo shoot and interview that will be posted on CraveOnline after E3. Runway winners get a prize.
Walk in a runway show in any costume of your choice, for the “Crave Island” event to be hosted by CraveOnline on June 5, 6 and 7, 2012 at 1220 S. Figueroa, Los Angeles (on 12th and Figueroa - it’s a parking lot).
It would be great to at least have 5-10 cosplayers per show, but there is no cap on how many can participate. Cosplayers we don't contact before the event are still welcome to join. If you are able to attend, please show up to the time slot NO LATER than 30 minutes prior to call time. Please be mindful of the extra traffic around the Convention Center and also the time spent looking for parking. Your on site contact is Athena Stamos. She has brilliant red hair so you can't miss her! Check in with her when you arrive and she will be sure to get your name on the list.
Approximate Times (There’s no obligation to stay after the runway show, so the timeslots are kind of when we’ll *generally* need participants):
Tuesday, June 5, 2012: 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm or 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Wednesday, June 6, 2012: 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm or 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Thursday, June 7, 2012: 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm or 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Runway shows will begin promptly at 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. We have ONE changing room and bathrooms on site (trailer bathrooms with booths) for cosplayers to use as dressing rooms. If possible, come already dressed in costume.
What will happen is a runway show and then participants can hang around the booth to take pictures with the visitors, or at our photo booth to be uploaded onto the CraveOnline site.
Cosplayers must be in full costume for the entire duration of the time slot.
We’ll have parking at our location (the booth is situated on a parking lot). Parking on our lot is FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.
