Photo ‘theft’

Post by Himeno » Tue Jun 07, 2011 9:09 pm

Is there some way for a photographer to add their own credits to photos they find in ACP or ACE?

I have added all my convention photos into ACS with tags to the cosplayer where known. I have noticed that a number of my photos have then been added to ACP accounts with no credit or link back to ACS.

We don't have anything like that right now, so basically you would need to contact the cosplayer who is using your photo and kindly ask them to credit you to that picture using the drop down list. Use the PM function on the profile, and make sure you give them the link to the photo in question. Most of the time it's not intentional, it's that they weren't able to recall where the photo came from if there's no watermark or they're just lazy.
