Year six marks the beginning of a new era for MomoCon. We have got new and exciting changes in the works. Don't worry, many old favorites will be returning. So mark your calenders and stay-tuned. Hope to see you there!

Also we are now accepting open submissions for t-shirt, badge, and program book art. Click here for full details. The art deadline is Jan 7th 2010. Extended from Dec 31st 2009.

* Attendees Ages 16 and older admitted with valid government ID (driver's license, military, passport etc) at registration. Minors younger than 16 must have an adult be present at registration to sign-off on their registration form. An adult can sign-off for all minors in their party.

We've got a Staff / Recruitment meeting this Sunday 11/15 at 1pm. Details HERE.

After the 'official business' (usually the first hour or so) the remainder of the time the staff hangs out, and this is when a lot of the new ideas are created and debated.

Also, the official Facebook Event is up and accepting RSVP's if you'd prefer to mark your calender that way.

Lots of Annoucements -
* Free Pre-Reg is full. Donor Badges only available until Sunday March 7th. Badges will begin being mailed March 4th. A limited amount of free admission badges will be available starting at early registration 7pm Friday the 19th at the GaTech Student Center

* T-shirt pre-orders available now at momocon.com. Only $10 dollars!

* Blood Drive, help save a life. LifeSouth will be bringing two blood mobiles to the convention. Anyone over the age of 16 is welcome to give blood. If you are 16 you will need to bring a form, here. ID required.

* Our Opening Ceremonies contest, NewType USA Scavenger Hunt! The Feb 2005 issue featured an article spotlighting Anime-Otekku and their plans for the very first MomoCon. Bring a copy and recieve some Japanese snacks. Donate the issue to the convention, and you'll recieve a special prize pack.

* Costume Contest Forms. Soon to be available online. The judging location is in a building new to MomoCon, Boggs. It is on the walk-way between the Student Center and Instructional Center, easily visible. Their will be plenty of signable. You will be able to drop off your entry forms BEFORE getting your badge. Remember judging is only guarenteed for the first 100 entrants. You can also sign-in to be only be in the Costume Catwalk and skip judging all together.

* Lots of new Guests including our second band, the rock and roll power house - The Man Power. The Extraordinary Contraptions will be returning as well with their unique steampunk musical stylings. Read up all about them on the website.
