A&G Ohio 2

A&G Ohio is returning for it's second year, bigger and better and with any luck from our great returning and new staff Alot more organized and planned better in the areas that needed. We have a really great hotel lined up with an Awesome staff and a GREAT $93 a night room rate. In the on going tradition of A&G we keep on trying to reach out and bring in guests that have not been in Ohio either in a long time or not at all. This year we are bringing in...
Dana Snyder- You might now him as the VA of Master Shake in Aqua Teen Hunger Force!
Dan Slott- He is an amazing writer, that just happens to work for Stan Lee over at Marvel. Dan is responsible Amazing Spiderman, She-Hulk, and many other titles.
Steve Downes- Most might not recognize the name, but he is the VA of the BIGGEST video game franchises in history. Say hello to the VA of Master Cheif from HALO 1-3!!
Michael "Piano Squall" Gluck- He is a veteran in the convention circuit, returning for his First Scheduled convention appearance in 2 years!

We are bringing back a few signature events like: cosplay wrestling and musical
as well as new events: ninja academy and battle kart.

Anime & Gaming Ohio is back! New first-time Ohio guests Steve Downes the voice of Master Chief from the Halo series and Marvel writer Dan Slott, whose works include Amazing Spider-Man, She-Hulk, and the Ren & Stimpy Comic will be in attendance, along with International cosplay star Yaya Han and voice artist extraordinaire Richard Epcar, whose credits include Ziggy from Xenosaga, Batou from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and Raiden and The Joker from Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. Also premiering will be Cincinnati’s popular Celtic metal group Lunarium in concert. Rising Lash will also return with their events and to aid in the production of Resident Evil: The Musical, one of the new main events. If zombies aren’t your thing, test your ninja skills at the three-day Ninja Academy event, or out-maneuver your friends in Battle Kart, inspired by the Mario Kart series. We have relocated to a new hotel in Cincinnati with a spacious lobby for gatherings, an indoor pool, and a room rate of $93 per night, with four free breakfast tickets for each room. For our second year we have new security, increased staff, an improved rave, a larger artists alley, better panels, and a game room twice the size of the previous year’s. CINCINNATI, OHIO - January 12, 2009 - Steve Blum will be joining A&G Ohio for his first Ohio convention appearance ever!! Steve is the famous voice of "Spike" from Cowboy Bebop, "Roger Smith" from The Big O, as well as "Wolverine" in various Marvel animations and games, "Orochimaru" in Naruto, and countless others. He will be joining fellow voice actors including Richard Epcar, who is most famous for "Batou" from Ghost in the Shell, Ellyn Stern who voiced "Haraway" in Ghost in the shell, and Steve Downes, who is most famous for being the voice of "Master Chief" in the Halo games.

Also joining them is Dan Slott, who is the current writer for "The Amazing Spider-Man", but has also written for "Ren and Stimpy", and "The Avengers: The Initiative". Among others are International Cosplay Star YaYa Han, and DM Ashura, who has been featured in various DDR games.

To help con goers cope with the poor economy but still be able to make it to conventions, each hotel room bought at our hotel, the Holiday Inn Eastgate (www.whihotels.com/ebrochures/hieastgate/), you will receive one full weekend badge for A&G Ohio for FREE! Purchase must be made by Feb 1st. With the purchase of a hotel room, you will also receive 4 free hot breakfast tickets for Saturday and Sunday. Animation and Gaming Ohio (A&G Ohio) is a convention ran by the fans, for the fans. It not only includes Japanese animation, but American animation as well. Gaming is also incorporated with the signature gaming events and the massive game room A&G has to offer. A&G Ohio is a second year convention based out of Cincinnati, OH.
