Photographer new to the scene - Shoots from TouhouCon

Post by TToma » Tue Sep 23, 2014 8:31 am

Hello,

I'm new to the cosplay scene and am getting into cosplay photography. This was my first shoot and would like peoples opinions on the photos. Anything from poses, location choice, lighting, or composition. Also if you just like the photos that's cool to know too. The cosplay community is great and am happy to have become apart it one way.

I thought the photos were good. The only thing I would have liked to see is a bit more variety in the locations and maybe some sort of filter or smoke effect or something else creative to make it look more like fantasy. After all thats what cosplay is all about..right?

Thank you for the reply. Those shots were impromptu shoots that I did while at Touhou Con. I'd like the opportunity to do a more elaborate setup with some cosplayers though for sure. Next time Im bringing gels with me though to try out on my next set of impromptu shoots.
