I've wanted to know, is Transformers considered Anime? Much of the animated series content was produced in Japan or Korea and four straight series were brought over and dubbed in English. What do you guys think?

It's not what a lot of American otaku would call anime, even though it was originally produced by Japanese animators. Although in Japan, if I understand correctly, anything animated is called "anime". I think it all comes down to what we individually call anime, but Transformers certainly appears to have a huge mecha influence.
