EXP Con is back for Year IV!

EXP Con 2011 will be taking place October 21-23, 2011 in the St. Johns County Convention Center at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, FL.

Our website has lots of neat information about the event. You can check it out

Maybe check out the forums and make comments and suggestions on the event? That would be here. I’ll also be checking back here for questions and comments.

EXP Convention is a weekend long all ages event to be held at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village's St. Johns County Convention Center. The main purpose of EXP Con is to celebrate and promote American and Japanese video gaming, Japanese animation also known as anime, manga which are Japanese graphic novels, cosplay which is the act of creating and modeling costumes based on characters from Japanese and American media, and the melding of Japanese and American pop-culture.

Registering at EXP Con at different levels nets you different perks. Check out that information here

Event information such as the Costume Contest and AMV contest is available at the Events section of the site here: the prizes for these events are awesome but could be heavy. Be forewarned.

People who like video games and/or Japanese animation would think these people are awesome. They will be here:

Mega64 – My favorite people on the internet.
Charles Martinet – Voice of Mario from Nintendo games and more.
Vic Mignogna – Voice of Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist and more.
Chris Sabat – Voice of Vegeta from Dragonball Z and more.
Ali Hillis – Voice of Liara from Mass Effect and more.
Jennifer Hale – Voice of Female Shepard from Mass Effect and more.
Mark Meer – Voice of Male Shepard from Mass Effect and more.

There will be many people from the video game and Japanese animation industry in attendance to talk about game design and stuff. That’s something I would check out. There will be more people I think people would agree are famous in the Industry announced very soon. Too many people? It's all good.

Look forward to seeing those of you that can make it!
