Outbox messages not sending

I attempted to send several pm's yesterday but they are just sitting in my outbox. Is there a configuration setting that I am missing?

Ah, I was able to find this that explains that unread messages stay in the outbox until read:viewtopic.php?p=47489&sid=a262f97ca6c42 ... 924833ce27
