: peers over her glasses at you:
Howdy! I'm Sarah better known as Penlowe because it's the name I use everywhere on the 'net, you might have bumped into me on other crafting sites, a con or as your theater teacher in high school. I've been sewing and building props longer than you've been alive* (no, really, I'm old). Frankly, I wish I were still young and svelte enough to wear a lot of the awesome characters that people get to dress up in these days, but I can live vicariously through my own children who share my love of costume. When I fell in love with costuming my options were Star Trek day at the comic shop or Renn Faire. I love teaching, I love seeing the "aha!" happen and seeing you turn out an awesome finished product, it brings great joy to my heart. I don't really do commissions, for a long list of boring reasons I won't bother with here. I look forward to meeting lots of you all.
