New here and to the cosplay world

I've always wanted to cosplay but never been able too since none of my friends want to.
Well comic con is a few weeks away and I finally have the courage to cosplay.
Something simple for my first cosplay so I would be going as Nocturne from the xmen.
I'll love in the philadelphia area so is anyone else going to be there?
