All Hail... err... Cosplay!!

Hi!
I'm new to Cosplay as an art form rather than historical re-enactment. I used to be cast for the Renaissance Festival in Wentzville, MO. Gas prices, lack of time, and injury stopped that activity, but my ankle is better, and better yet, I've been introduced to the insanity of Archon St. Louis. We made a lot of friends, most of them Transformers fans, and my partner and I have decided to cosplay Jazz and Prowl from Transformers for this year's Masquerade at Archon.
I'm starting to think that I've lost my mind by trying to make mech armor that we can actually move around in, but seeing some of what's been showcased here has made me think that yes, I'm insane, but I'm not alone!
