All haired up, and nowhere to go......

Hi. I'm new to this, and I'm trying to think of some characters I could cosplay as. Given my hair and the fact that I don't wish to cut it, having not done so in roughly 2 and a half years, I haven't had muhc luck thinking of characters that would work. The only two I could think of were Hige, from Wolf's Rain (Possibly if I gell, or push my hair up or somewhat.), and Koshirou Chikuma, from Basilisk. (If I straighten and dye it black. I'm straightening again soon anyways, and I do own a ninja suit, so......) I've included a few pics to let you know what I look like.

If anyone could give me some help with some other characters, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Body type shot. My hair was blown back/pushed back given that I was running through a forest and jumping all over the rocks.

My hair wet, to give a idea of about how long it really is when not curling/poofing. This is also my ninja suit.

Cool! I agree with those two. Especially the one from Basilisk. There might be others... Aww too bad you only have Black Ninja suit.

Thanks!

I'm just worried that noone would know those two characters. I think Hige would probably be more recognizable, but I'm not sure. I would love to do the Koshirou one though, as he's my favorite character from Basilisk, since I first read the original novel, The Kouga Ninja Scrolls. (I have a thing for scythes. :D )

A friend just suggested Spike from Cowboy Bebop, which, hair-wise, wouldn't be so far off Hige, green dye nonwithstanding.

I actually just got the suit recently. There was a Pirate Exhibit in Philadelphia, and I bought the suit and went with a group of pirates as a ninja. I even got the two guys who created Talk Like A Pirate day to sign a paper shuriken. XD

Sounds like that must of been great as heck. I guess so on "Wolf's Rain" Hige. But hmm.. Cowboy Bebop's Spike would be cool. I was also thinking of Vicious.

Have you heard of Samurai Deeper Kyo? Or Saiyuki Reload?

Vicious is a good one, I hadn't thought of that one.

I've heard the name Samurai Deeper Kyo, but I'm not really familiar with either, I'm afraid. (Though I will now Wiki them. :D )

You are welcome, Stray I know there are still others that you would be able to cosplay.
