New...ish? Cosplayer needing some ideas (PIC INCLUDED)

Hey guys,
I'm new to ACP, but cosplay I'vebeen around for a fair while, but only have cosplayed Itachi Uchiha. It was fun, but now I'm having cravings to get 3 new cosplays ready for Anime North 2013. I would prefer a challenge, which means both crossplay and cosplay are valid ideas here. I was thinking, if I could conceal facial features slightly, going as Ino Yamanaka, or, without the facial concealment, Ayumu from Is This a Zombie?
I've attached a picture so you guys can see what I look like. I have about 5 months to prepare, and that means if I have to get in shape, slim down, whatever, I will. I'm at camp right now, as my job is camp attendant at a rig camp in northern Alberta, so sorry for the terri-bad picture.
