What type of fabric...?

What type of fabric should I use on a schoolgirl uniform? My friend requested a schoolgirl but im stuck on fabric choices x_x;

Hrmmm.. Well, what are real-life schoolgirl uniforms made out of? whatever material they're made out of might look good (Logically speaking, and IMO) ^^

Cotton, good old fashioned cotton. Plus, it's comfy.

It really depends on what kind of schoolgirl it is. There's some nice cotton/poly blend stuff that's a bit heavier than just plain cotton in case you have trouble with the fabric being too light. You don't want the skirt to be see-through.

you can always double the cotton over, that way you can't see through it.

My uniforms (in real life at school!!) have always been made out of polyester...but that can get hot to wear.
