Organization XIII coat help

Hey guys, i am new to this forum but i need some help with what fabrics i might use for this orginization XII coat and also the patter u think i would use..CAN U HELP????

A sturdy cotton twill (possibly black denim at least 14 oz weight) would do you great. It'll have great weight and hang. Its a pretty traditional trenchoat-type material (when not going into wools, which are way hotter)
For patterns, open up a pattern book at your local fabric store. Look under dresses or coats. There's going to be a lot of modifying you'll have to do no matter what.

Google "Extra large zippers" and see what comes up
Hopefully what I am thinking of would be there.
