Which Allen cosplay are you making? I've made both the first and second outfits a couple of times, so if you have any specific questions I can certainly help you.

Well, what is your cosplay experience? Have you sewn before? Because if you haven't, lessons might be a crucial first step and all that.
Can you buy something similar and modify it?
If you can sew, have you gone to a fabric store and looked at patterns that might be similar?
Gotta give us something to work with, first.
