ok this year i wanna go as Midna the imp form but im not sure what kind of materials i could use on the head dress i would use sculpting clay....but i graduated and i dont have acess to it anymore

Craft foam? You could do a variation on the craft foam armour tutorial style.

Craft foam works amazingly well, it's cheap and it's light!

Doubling it up is very effective =)
