Post by xshengflipx » Sun Jan 13, 2008 9:05 pm

Now, don't kill me cosplayers out there who are tired of seeing yuna cosplayed world wide.. forgive me!

i want to know the minimum cost for the fabrics and dyes, wonderflex and other things needed to complete this outfit..

I CAN USE A SEWING MACHINE.
I CAN GO LIKE MACH FIVE ON MINE.

i felt like i needed to do this cosplay!
i have the boots already so, i have that part completed!
whooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

i've never worked with wonderflex or molding substance..
just sewing..

please just tell me how much it will cost me..
and what is the best fabric to use..
that is in my budget..
which is like $130-160.

i have until fanime in may to complete this.
this is my new years resolution.
so help me fulfill it and not let it fall apart like my other ones.
harharahr

P.M. me or leave a response!
any comment given is awesome..
unless it's a"stop! don't cosplay as that. it's overly done!"
well, i don't care!
it's my resolution! :]]

A good cotton or cotton twill. You can usually find blue and with ease. 2-3 yards (approx ) for the hakama/skirt, another 2 for the sleeves, 1-2 for the top. Your only dificult parts are the Obi and the design on the bottoms. For those a lot of time and dedication and some fabric/silk paint and you have that covered.

A pink Rit dye for the sleevesWax crayon will be your savior. draw a ruggege line about and inch above where you want it to stop, it holds down to over bleed. You might just be able to pull this off on you budget. Though you may go over a little. (oh for the obi try finding a raw slik, something with a touch of texture but not overly much, it will make your outfit more cohesive. Away from teh shine, the shine is not the camera's friend)

Good luck
