I hope this is where I can post this...my 7year old would like to be "ash ketchum" for halloween -- can any one direct me to where I could find a pattern and or costume (anything above size 10) -- your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. ^_^
Not sure of any patterns, but I'm pretty sure Ash Ketchum's vest/jacket can be made by altering a sweatshirt or sweat jacket. For his "classic" version, cutting off the sleeves of a blue sweatshirt and replacing them with the sleeves from a white T-shirt would probably work. Add yellow bias tape for the trim. A jacket made this way has the bonus of being sturdy enough to wear any day and withstand washing too. The rest of his clothes are pretty normal: jeans & T-shirt. The hat might actually be a challenge if you can't find the right color combo in your area. Walgreens sometimes has a good selection of ball caps with no logos.

Good luck with your project!
