Height Issues!

I'm 5'1, but I have my heart set on cosplaying Reno when I go to my first con. I figured if I'm going to jump into this, I'm going to go with a character I absolutely love, even if it's maybe not the most realistic choice.

One of the major issues: height. I need some quick advice here. ^__^

The wig will add a couple inches. I've heard something about putting lifts in my shoes- where can I buy lifts, and how much height will they add? Is there anything else I can do to make myself appear taller for the costume?

You could get those platform boots - usually they're 3-4 inches high.

Then again, don't worry about height that much, and just have fun with the experience.

I'm 5'0.

I've cosplayed characters that were 6'0".

It's all in how you carry yourself.

I've done a Lulu before. She's much taller than 5'0".

Just make yourself the character, and it won't matter how tall you are.

I've seen incredibly overweight people play , for example, Chi. One in particular pulled it off, because she became the character. She was so beautiful, but not the characters real body type. It doesn't matter

Cosplay isn't about what you look like in real life. It's about dressing up, and have a great time.

Always do what will be fun.

No kidding. Usagi-chan has a LOT of cosplays that are at least 6'0" for the actual character.
