Okay, I can't really help you, but I know some people who can. Hemuloki-Sama is great, try to get some of her advice. Well, I'll just say this so you know why I made this worthless post. I felt sorry for you, one post and all. Well, from one newbie to another, you're gonna' have a great time here.

if it's less then a week then i would say to go to a second hand store such as goodwill and buy a shirt and skirt that looks like hers and alter it a bit...
for the dice you can buy those big dice you but in a car and put them on a pair of bunnyears you can buy at walmart in the easter section.
and that's a way to do a gehtto rabi en rose!

Thank you for the compliment, I don't really get them very often.

But as for you, Violet, you really shouldn't have waited so long to do the costume and I'm sorry for getting back to you so late! Anyway, since it is Friday, I really can't help you either unless it's actually next week. But if you are really serious, buy fabrics you want, and patterns you can modify, you really can't do anything about the wig unless you already have one and you should go ahead and make dice for her hair if you can manage a wig in time.

But, you can also do what I do when I find I don't have enough time. Save the costume for next time and go in something different for this convention. You can still have fun without a costume and you can always throw together a nice costume. Look at Shuichi Shindou from Gravitation. I have at least 4 costumes that are in stock right now for me to use if I end up not having enough time to complete Shurenlord.

Also, if you have friends that have costumes....suck up and borrow theirs. I'm notorious for roaming around wearing my friend's stuff.

As a sidenote too, if anyone wants to get a hold of me sooner or hoping that I go through the posts, which I don't always do, I suggest you PMing me or emailing me and I will get to you, hopefully, within the day, since I check those more often than the forum boards I go to.

Well, in all honesty, even though you said the word piddle, I came up with the name from the Lenore comic. She was playing with a stuffed teddy bear and it piddled and on the name tag was "Mr. Piddle". She hated playing with it but that's not the point.
