i'm helping my friend construct a tengu mask for his "mr. karate" costume.

who is mr. karate you ask? he is an pivotal SNK Character whose mastery of kyokugen karate and power rivals that of capcom's akuma.





i've already planned it out on paper, using plaster strips, model paint, a hot glue gun and a granny wig.

does anyone else have any ideas for a better mask?

Go to a crafts store and look for the basic mask. You can continue from there by adding details and the nose. I recomend useing pottery and either bake it... or let it dry. Then add finer details with putty and paint. following up with 10cent store wig for the facial hair.
