Dark Knight Yuna

Post by Bounty » Sat Feb 19, 2005 9:49 pm

Ok.. I may be crazy, but, I'm trying Dark Knight Yuna. Anyone happen to have any photos of the costume? Many thanks to anyone who has or just wants to talk about the costume.

Yay! Just what I have been needing! Okies, I'm making my sword from.. foam.. yesh, foam then reinforced (sp?) with.. duct tape.. God, I'm ghetto.. but, do you know of any paint that will stick to a smooth surface like DT? I mean, or would I have to do something like spray it with a primer first?

Yeah, you'd need a primer if you're spraypainting it... unless you want to be able to peel the paint off of it. And I wouldn't go with duct tape, as it peels up on the edges and leaves sticky residue. (And don't use electrical tape- it may look pretty but it curls up like none other.) I would know, it's already coming off my DDR mat and I just put it there yesterday. But my DDR mat's ghetto-ness is for a different thread.

no duct-tape! If you're going to just use a type of tape, go to the hobby store and buy "Contact paper" used for Airplanes. It's plastic, and it can be shrunk a little for a tight smooth look.
