Hi, have been reading through the forums and there is some excellent advice about however I am about to start making Kaneki kens kagune from Tokyo Ghoul, I have a harness from something else which I can attach them to but was wondering what you guys would suggest for the actual limbs. I am planning to make 4 seperate limbs filled with stuffing and with a wire surround in the lining which will attach to the harness.

My main question is what type or 'gauge' of wire should I use? Many people have said 9 gauge steel, would this not be a little heavy? Also any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
