Best Fabric for School Uniforms?

Hello,

I want to try making/sewing my own cosplay for 2015 instead of always buying them online. Usually online, they are made with Polyester, or cotton. What is the best fabric to use?

I'd like to consider these things:

1) Being able to breathe (meaning, I won't get sticky)

2) Weight (I don't want to be carrying around a lot of weight on me)

3) Movability

4) Something that won't get wrinkled too easily.

The cosplay in question is this character here --> http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb2013 ... onda_1.jpg

Hello there. c:
I just finished my first uniform and found that tweed works really well? It's wrinkle resistant and easier to work with than I initially expected. It's also a sturdy fabric. I haven't worn it out yet, but! I'm in Arizona so I'm praying it won't kill me too bad.

Hope this helped a tiny bit!

Thanks! I'll see if they sell that type of fabric at our local fabric mart. I hope its cheap enough though =/
