I just finished my second commission on Edward Elric's costuem from Fullmetal Alchemist. If you have any questions related to this costume or would like to make one for yourself feel free to contact me or leave opinions.

also if you want the automail I suggest contacting Hemuloki_sama and Darktiger I believe they make hard props.

I make props too, but they are not my specialty

Lookin' good, Ruby ^_^ On a similar topic, if anybody needs wig-related help, I'd be happy to explain the processes I used on mine.

hey you're up late tia. ^^ thanks for the compliment. This one is going out on Monday to Canada.

Likewise, if anyone has any questions on wigs, materials, or ...yea, anything. Ask me, also direct questions for the belt to me. Oh, and let me just say that ...HOT DAMN is that nice!

PM me about the size of a new belt. I need to re-do that rushed piece of crap.

Tia is pulling all-nighters this week due to paper that she hasn't really started yet too much for literature and the occult that's due at the latest next wednesday. I also have a math final this tuesday, and I was hoping to get some small cosplay things done this weekend. You know, like repairing my stockings and such.

You're welcome. For the belt, it's pretty standard. It's a Sam Brown Belt. You can get the leather at a lot of standard suppliers (we have one like twenty minutes away I believe), and you can also get the Sam Brown rivets, too. You have to ask for them by name, though, they don't have them displayed. Canada, interesting. I once sent a necklace to some girl in Canada and she never even thanked me for it. Bleh. Serves me right. I should be more careful about who I make stuff for.

can you make an arm gauntlet or glove that'll simulate the crybornetic arm?

by Hemuloki-sama
Tia, I know a lot of people that treat me like a mass producing company and with individual commissioners, that's just not the case. We love to be thanked and we love praise and comments from our customers. I would even love to continue talking to some if they want...all in all, thought I have to accept it, I know that some of them treat me like I'm only one on a work force and therefore, shouldn't get anything.

Yup, that's one of the reasons I'm building a vaccum table!

The problem with the automail is that it really needs to be specialy fitted to a person if you want full mobility.

Yeah, it's kind of weird. I've only had one person actually talk to me again after the commission was shipped and done with. The main reason I stopped doing the jewelry was that I just didn't have time. Those suckers take two days to make. Plus I need to find a better system. I did an experiment with a new method, but I didn't like it as much. It turned out okay, I guess, though. People are just really demanding when it comes to cosplay. I blame most of it on ebay. It makes people think that if one costume sells for 50 dollars, all of them will, and they should get good quality regardless. Heaven forbid we actually have to make a living off this.

Heh, I've only had one person request a second costume from me, well 2 but the other one told me she was going to save up for a house instead "/. The one that actually means it, well that happened last night.

*confused* We've still got the Miroku to do for Ryan. That counts. Although I doubt he'll talk much to me after that. He's never really talked much to anybody. Even online. What is this new commission you speak of?

My earring person has a friend looking for a black Saske outfit. I don't have details yet.

In related news, we have got to catch up on Naruto.

Im not a fan of Naruto. its too popular now, too.

For me, it's like Inuyasha. I can live with it, it's not my favorite by any means, if it had a lot of the fluff chopped out it'd hold my attention.

(Hey, let's flashback to that sentence. DeeT said, "it'd hold my attention." He must've been talking about Naruto. But why doesn't it hold his attention? He says it's because of the extra fluff, remember when he said, "if it had a lot of the fluff chopped out it'd hold my attention"? Yah, but what did he mean by that? I bet he meant the pointless recaps of the same 30 seconds of plot-related action that take up half the episode. That's why he said that it needed "a lot of the fluff chopped out." Ohhhhhh. Well, let's look at a few scenes from our next episode!)

On the other hand it gets me my bling bling so I'm all down with that.

lol, Ruby. You know that no matter what, it's Naruto. There will be like 2345302 cosplayers for any character from that series at any con. It's just guaranteed. It's like the new sailor moon.

>.> Me?

Bishie- Short for Bishounen
Bishounen- Long for pretty boy in anime/manga/doujinshi/anything Japanese male. Example: See Gackt, see Sasuke, Kurama, Hisoka, Tsuzuki....hmm, anyone from Yami no Matsuei.

...I am disappointed Nancy.

Edward for one, is a bishie just as Inuyasha is. Sesshoumaru is the major one of that show though.

Wait a minute. Inuyasha is a bishie????

No wonder so many people like that show.

Posted: Fri Dec 03, 2004 8:50 pm
by Hemuloki-sama
No, girls like the show because of Sesshoumaru. Everyone else likes it because it's plotless for the most part, there's bitch fights, and there's violence. Cool, censored violence. That's why DBZ was so popular.

Plotless
Bitch fights
Cool, censored Violence
Blondes.
Lots of bitching, censored violencing blondes.

Hrm. I wonder if that's why everybody liked sailor moon, too. Or was it the half-naked censored by covering them in ribbons blondes......
I need to change my hair back to auburn again 0.o; Thank God for Juri cosplay. Oh wait. Shit. People are just as bad with Utena cosplay. Help!

Neko! ^^

Enu is dog is Japanese, but I dunno if I spelled it right in English >_>; (The pronounciation is right anyways :P)

How to grow ears.. hmm....

I know that a bull's horns grow from a bud, and you can move the two horn buds close together to make a bull with a single giant unicorn style horn. So if you were to graft the bud onto your head, times the equivilant of Sunny Delite orange juice, cross-breed it with some old popcorn.... Ok, I'm lost.

I'm pretty sure you spell it (inasmuch as you can "spell" anything in a diffrent alphabet) Inu like Inuyasha.

Dang, do we ever have topic drift.

Posted: Wed Dec 15, 2004 1:41 pm
by Hemuloki-sama
Haha, Fialchar's Asian self can't even spell! Haha!

Yes, a topic drift but I allow it since Nancy's in charge of her own thread. If she wants the off-topicness to stop, she'll just say so...O.o

But I kind of want to know what the jacket is made of. It looks nice.
