I'm working right now on the designs for my roommates Poison Ivy costume. We've decided to go with a romper style instead of the bathing suit look, and we want it tight but do not want to work with spandex, we were wondering if Cotton Lycra would be the way to go. Or if there is a better material to work with. Also if anyone has a pattern or idea of how much of the material we'll need.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe just use leotard and tights? Not really sure what style you're going for, but I think using some sort of green strapless swimsuit/body suit should work out, esp after you adorn it with ivies.

Also, what are you using for the hair? My friend did a similar cosplay a while back, and she got a wig that looked like this:

She used a green Alice headband and more ivies to complete the costume, it looked pretty good at the end!
