Help on a sango outfit

i need help on sangos demonslayer outfit.
i can make the armor part and have a sword but im havin trouble on the bommerang ,bodysuit, and poisen mask any ideas?

(im new at this sorry if i sound stupid!

Hi Kikyo,

For the bodysuit, go to Rivers Edge dancewear online (do a Google search). They will definitely have what you need and they're very nice. I think you'd want a black bodysuit with mock turtleneck collar in a nice matte fabric.

As for the boomerang, I'm sure lots of people have ideas about that. SEveral people have made them out of foam with a fabric cover, taht seems to work well and makes it lighter and easier to get past weapons policies.

For the poison mask, may I suggest building it on a face mask form - what I mean is the paper masks that you can buy at Home Depot that are meant to protect you from air particles. They have a little metal band inside to pinch it around your nose and are held on with elastic. You could use that as a base since it's the right shape and build it up with papier mache to keep it light (anyone able to suggest a better material here?) Paint it appropriately and attach ribbon to the sides.

I actually like the idea of paper mache being used to build up on the demonslayer mask. The key to anything being used on your face is to keep it light and using that will keep it lighter than say using sculpy to totally make a mask yourself.

Anyway, for Sango's Boomarang, there's a tutorial on cosplay.com on how to make Tetsusaiga and that tutorial can easily be used to make Sango's giant weapon.

Realistic isn't something you can really go for. If you wanted to be realistic, you would make that boomarang out of the bone of a demon you slayed and you would have to have a mask made from metal...

...some things are better off not being realistic! O.o, yikes!

go to dance4less.com and click on unitards then look for a long sleeved mock turtleneck unitard use that as the body suit

Good luck with the costume. I've been wanting to make a Sango costume for awhile and now I have always pondered about what to use for a basic form for the mask...and what's been suggested is the perfect solution!
