Rio's hair - Burn Up W

Hello people! I'm not really sure if I' posting this in the right place, but here it goes. I'm planning to cosplay as Rio from Burn Up W, and I don't know what to do with her hair... my hair is blonde and short, so I'll have to get some sort of extension (don't know if this is the word, I'm Argentine...) for the pony tail, but what I don't know how to go about is the upper part (?) of her hair... and I can't find any cosplay of her to use as a reference... actually, I have found a couple of girls who've cosplayed as her, but nobody has done her hair the way it looks in the anime... I'm also thinking if it really is that important that the hair is exactly the same, I really don't know how I could get it though! ^^' ... would it be enough with a high pony tail...?

Anyway, I'm leaving some pics in case you don't know the character... any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

hmmmmmm that is a difficult one. I'm thinking you would need a hair clip extension and some got to be glue or (oddly enough clear wood varnish) very thin layer. it would need to be feathered out a bit and scultped but with some time and work I think you could do it.

yo will deffinantly need some glue for that one. i like the clip idea that is what i am doing for nariko. i think the clip way is very effective go with that and style it.
