You have to be skilled with sculpy to be able to get a good enough version of Tidus or Squall's necklace. Both of them are made from fine metals and the sculpy would be a cheap and cruel alternative.
At any rate, I would just buy Squall's pendent already online and then make a template and rasin it for Tidus'.

Cruel alternative? I assume you mean crude. And sculpey isn't as hard to work with as you make it seem. It worked just fine for me, and I made it like 5 years ago (when I was 13/14). Since not everyone has an expendable budget, I think it it totally acceptable, not Crude.
And if a person can't work with sculpey, what makes you think they can make a templet to resin a different necklace? They also sell Tidus' necklace. At least they did. I know because I almost bought one at a con.
Besides, if a person did want to make the sculpey look like "fine metals", they can buy metallic spray paint. Its getting very good quality nowadays and looks fantastic.

See, sculpy isn't hard to work with but it can be because it's commonly known to be brittle. But I didn't even mean crude alternative, I meant cruel. I would rather have a metal pendent than a sculpy one just because of my personality.
But as with me, I learned how to work metals and resin long before I even worked with sculpy so I find that easier than sculpy just because I have been doing it longer.
But knew that they use to sell Tidus' pendent. I saw it a while ago too.

My best friend is completly obsessed with Shuyin/Tidus (not much of a difference, exept for the whole evil thing.) She ordered Tidus's necklace off Ebay for $20 American, from Canada. She got it within a week, which is pretty good.

If you can't find them anywhere else www.weaponmasters.com has them at a nice price. Just search for Final Fantasy in the search bar. I do have a Tidus sword in my room that I might sell for the right price.
