Costume Accuracy

Post by weiblicher_junge » Thu Jul 05, 2007 2:48 pm

I have a question on the costume for Rosette from Chrno Crusade. For the midsection piece, some pictures show it as a tan color and others show it as gray, so I'm wondering which color would be the most accurate.

Also, are the gloves optional? My hands aren't huge fans of gloves, but I can deal with it if it'll throw the costume off. Kind of like how Sailor Scout costumes look kind of naked without the long gloves.

I've looked through a butt load of pictures for Rosette (I want to cosplay her as well next year ^^) and I have found pictures of both tan and gray for the midsection. I did however, find a few screenshots and it was gray, so I'm guessing it all has to do with your personal preference.

In all of the anime I've seen thus far (about five volumes on DVD) it's been gray/white more often than tan. The tan could be, if consistent through episodes, a mistake or a problem with the machine/computer which puts colour to the image itself. It's been known to happen, but it generally is a "wearers choice" sort of thing when this arises.

Personally, I would go with the gray.

Good luck darlin!
