Hikaro No Go - Sai

Post by Slim Daniels » Wed Mar 28, 2007 2:28 am

Hello! I'm about to start work on my first costume. Sai from Hikaru No Go. Where should I start?

Sai has on a kariginu threw most of the anime. From here I'm not really sure where to look. heh http://www.chemicalpoet.com/?p=251 this is the only research I've done so far beyond a search here which didn't turn up much. :(

OK, well, this might seem kinda silly, but there's this doll making site that shares some patterns for anime inspired dolls & clothes. It could at least give you some ideas of what shape the fabric needs to be cut to make the items you want (sized up for a real person of course). http://dollmaker.nunodoll.com/
Scroll down to the Kenshin & Inuyasha. There's a Sai with good photos, but it doesn't have directions.

You could also try looking at Folkwear patterns to see if they have something you can use. http://www.folkwear.com/

Thanks, I'll read threw these and get back. I'm still reading up on the basics of taking cloth and string, putting them together, and making more then a mess. >.<;

Being a 33 year old male I've missed some basic training most here would see as lol silly funny (^.^)' *SIGHS*
