Inuyasha costume patterns??

Post by chibinoeru » Sun Mar 04, 2007 8:06 am

I'm trying to make an Inuyasha costume for Amecon (august, UK) and I really need help because I can't work without patterns.. :(
Is there anyone here who's made and Inuyasha costume before? If so, did you use patterns? Again, if so, where did you get them?
Please please help!

Here's a picture of his costume

Well, I made a similar costume before and I make my own patterns for each costume. I would recommend you to search for a hakama pattern for kimono top pattern? I think there are patterns to make inuyasha online~

You can also use a Harem pants pattern like this one.

For the top you just need to make a shorter Kimono

Anything like thoes will work.

You'll need to change the sleeve pattern a bit like this:

I only put 17" because thats what worked for me but for others it may be shorter or longer depending on your size.

If you have any questions please ask!
