Anthy's Crown

Post by pixerella1982 » Sat Dec 16, 2006 10:02 am

I want to make Anthy's crown and was wondering what kind of paint would be best to use. I am planning on making it using a plastick headband. I just want to make sure that the paint that I do use won't crack when I bend the headband.

you'll need to do a few steps to make it smooth and shiney.

Sand the surface, this'll give the paint something to stick to better, otherwise it'll chip off rather fast. use a spray of primer and sand that down with 200+ grit. then add "liquid Gold Leaf" and top it off with several coats of clear protectant spray.

You could apply normal gold leaf if you're able to work with that stuff, it's easy and looks awesome, better than most paints.
