How did u make your Sabaku 'no Gaara gourd?
cuz i cant find a styrofoam ball big enough...

I didnt make one but a friend of mine made one out of two giant play balls glued together she deflated one of them using the pin attachment on an airpump in the little inflate hole on the ball, glued them let it dry then reinflated it. Took Shapies to do the designs. It looked great.

PS she actually found the right color balls!
I am open for prop Commissions from the following series: Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Sailor Moon and cardcaptors Sakura.

Start with your basic shape and design with paper machae' and cover that with about four coats of fiberglass resin for sturdiness. Then get the right color spray paint and black latex paint for the designs.
