draw it on Paper first, then use a jigsaw to cut it out on wood. I am selling a few if things arn't working out.

I fear wall fans, most of them are made of paper so they arn't durable at all. Be careful when shopping and look for a frabric one.

the main thing on the keyblade is dowel rods. the Oathkeeper is a jigsaw.

I used normal kickball and hot glued sliced super balls, sanded the entire ball down with medium grit sandpaper to hold the spray paint. After Priming the ball with paint, I took hand paints and finished up details and coated it with several layers of clear coat to protect.

I recomend you buy it for $10, although, you'd need to drill a tiny hole with an eye hook and use string.

Take a plank of pine wood and get a semi circle drawing on it for the blade. only a little curve will do it. cut it square, and use a dremal to make the blade. round off the handle with a wood Rasp/File or sand paper. use paint, wrap, and glue a bouken hand gaurd.

Anyway, either mold or carved, go with a curve on the blade. a straight blade looks dumb.

Well, currently, I'm working on one useing wood.

I just drew out the pattern and started jig-sawing it. I'll be useing a router or a wood rasp to make it have depth. if you're not winded yet by doing this. Get a Dremal and start adding details.

Actually, if you delute red dye (I like FITT) in a bucket of boiling water, they turn pink. I think they also sell Pink dye.

If that doesn't turn out, use Hot pin hair dye, That stuff stains anything.

I know that you could get away with a normal tie if you make the tie short, and conceal the rest, or a clip on.

Buy some Really large rope and a hot glue gun. Make the shape, don't tie it. Take the hot glue gun and warm it up for about 5 sticks. PVC pipeing works, but that consists of contruction if you have the time and supplies. But if you want to save alot, The light sabers can extend just like in the movie.
