I would love to do this but I need some more information. Are you looking for a costume designer (someone who draws out interesting costume designs) or a costume maker (someone who makes the outfits from the DDR game)? Where would I have to work? If I want to work for you, do I need to send a portfo...

If your so worried about the material bunching up...I recommend interfacing. Especially around the edges in which the belts are to be attached. Since it needs to support the weight of the belts, heavy weight interfacing works nicely about 4 to 5 inches wide around the skirt opening while keeping the...

Help me!!!

Ok. I'm making Carmilla of Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust and I can't figure out the weird hair. I know it has to be a wig so, I'm going to ask the wig experts. The hair sort of looks like a double sided cone with hair draping in the back and in the front. Hmmmmm. I also don't know which color I'm going...

Making Epaulets?

Ok, So I'm making Juri from utena and she has those really weird circular epaulets on her shoulders. I was wondering how one would attempt to make one of those? I'm really lost if someone would please help me.

I really want to see someone do Quina Quen from Final Fantasy IX. That would be so awesomely cool and it would be one of the best costumes ever! To really pull that off, it would take some great costuming skills and talent. But, who cares if your a little chubby. Cosplay whoever you damn want! Ashley

Here, I'll help you. Ok, I always alter patterns, so instead of going to Joanns or your local fabric store, I would suggest going the http://www.mccall.com or http://www.simplicity.com to find a pattern, I looked over the patterns myself and I would suggest... Pattern Vogue 7978 The dress seems like...

How to extend wigs, add volume, and style them?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows some of the basics of wig styling and is willing to share some secrets? I am really bad at styling wigs and in turns out I need to for my costume. I would really like someone to explain to me: 1. How to put extentions and add volume into a wig. 2. How to...

Thanks a lot!

Your suggestions were really useful to me. I actually ended up finding a really great online web store-fabric.com that sells huge quantities of fabric as much as I needed. Thanks for your suggestions! Oh, buy the way since you asked, I need that much fabric because I'm making Carmilla's red countess...

A Good Place to Buy Online Fabric

I need a place on-line that sells their fabric relatively cheap but still has good quality. Like a wholesale distributor. I need about 15-20 yards of velvet and it needs to be about $1-$5 a yard. Please help me and post the website's url on the reply. Thanks so much!
