Here's a drawing of what I kinda had in mind, but kinda got lazy at the skirt and rushed. XD My original thoughts on the skirt was to have it about knee-level with boots that would match with the outfit. For EGL, you GOTTA have the large boots. >.< Other than that, it'll be heck to do. Just check ou...

Here are a few gothic lolita bibles, if you're interested. There are now three, that's right, three volumes up! Download them while they're still hot! >.< ftp://acp:cosplay@lifeanbu.no-ip.org/ (Note: If the link is down, it's probably because my computer crashed. Just wait until I get back from scho...

I was thinking of changing the patterns of a gothic lolita dress with a few changes in color. Also, a headband would work pretty nicely for the moogle antenna thingy mabobber~ (What is that thing anyway?) A pair of white gloves and something for the forearms would go nicely with those leg warmers Ti...

Artificial Skin Mask
Yea.... I don't really know if I can explain this correctly, but here goes. I'm trying to create a mask that goes directly onto my skin and is secured by a glue-like substance. What I'm trying to figure out is what kind of material would be flexible and comfortable to be on my face all day? The skin...

Well, I just took apart my gf's old school uniform, since she goes to private school. I found that her collar was made into two layers, giving it the brighter white look. So it's basically two sheets of white fabric with a strip cut out from another sheet of fabric and put between the two white ones...

Out of topic, but I just noticed something on your sig, Inu. It says power is corrput, but that's wrong. It should be that absolute power corrupts absolutely. ^^ And yes, schools are teaching us to be evil. Just a few weeks ago, I learned how to make gunpowder out of things I can find easily around ...

First, I'd like to say welcome. Secondly, I can't really say I can help. I'm sorry, but I don't have enough time to say anything. Maybe tomorrow? ^^ Edit: Now that I look at the outfit, it shouldn't be too hard to make. Just seperate it into four main parts. One, the long-skirt type thing, the upper...

Well... That's a basic pattern I use Like you said, it's like an ellipse, but with two flat sides (the frond and the back). Under that, I believe there's another ribbob/scarf? It really depends on the kind of pattern you're going for. Another tip, start curving slowly to make it seem straight. That'...

I'm sorry about this, but I couldn't find any of the old costumes I saved over from my last play. I guess the best way to say it is to have the angle start a little past the shoulder, to the front. You'll want to make it a smooth angle, not one that can be seen plainly. Let me find a picture of one ...

Alrighty then. =) Let me go pull out some of my older works (no, I did not wear them nor am I thinking of ever wearing them) from my closet. I should be able to give you a small diagram early tomorrow on how it should be shaped for a Sailormoon uniform, if that's the right costume. XD I'll give you ...

Face Mask
Does anyone have an idea on how I can make one that has few sewing lines in it? I've tried a few, but it just doesn't look right with those lines showing. Maybe there's another way to make the type of face mask Kakashi has? Edit: I know this is a problem many people have, but would anyone know where...

Nah, I use small hairclips in the designs I've made for some the hair-pieces in the asian costumes I've made. They're the ones that look like an elongated ellipse with the hole in the middle and a part that snaps onto that. It clamps the item tightly onto your hair, but allows you to remove them lat...

For the Chii ears, I would personally use wood for shape and vinyl for color. To keep them on the wig, I'd use clips (maybe two; one for the top and the other for the bottom) that have been drilled and screwed into the bottom of the wood so the "pink connecter thingies" stay on your wig. You can the...
