Yet another option is to hide a vision slit in the "ridge" near the top of the piece. It won't be extremly obivous, and it will only give you very limited vision, but it's cheap and quick.

The best Narutos are made using an orange fleece with broadcloth or embrorided patches. I'd use a heavy twill or canvas for the sandal covers since they'll get a lot of abuse. Just buy the offical headband though, they look better than any commissioners headband I've seen.

For an Usocon that's less than 20 days away? I don't think that anyone even could do a custom order that fast.

Try e-bay, you might get lucky, but I'd expect to pay about double market value at this point.
