I would use red crush velvet since I saw how my friend's Gilder jacket looks like used with it and I personally like it. As for the gold trim, either sew the thing on with gold embroidery or you can get fabric paint and hope it comes out.

Well, get a better computer but unless you're on the move or in college, you really will never need a laptop. Now when you can't see the true colors of things, that's when a change is in order.

Dude, those shoes are everywhere, you just gotta look. I used that picture just because I can't describe the shoe enough for the actual purpose. Using that picture will give her an idea of which shoe I'm talking about that will look good with a simple Mistress Nine costume.

The bead thing is probably the earring. There are three ways to doing it:

-Buy one from someone that is selling it. Ebay is a wonderous thing for us Naruto cosplayers.
-Make it yourself from plastics or wood.
-Find some things at a crafts store that look like the pieces and paint over them.

Lenne's skirt thing and Yuna's are the same so either costume will be interchangable with Yuna or Lenne. Only the hair, makeup, necklace, and earrings are different.

For the Rikku songstress? That one requires more skill since you're working with gradients.

The way I look at an overly expensive wig is how many styles I can produce off of it after the initial style. Most of wigs never stay the same for very long and I really only stop using them when they get too dark for a specific shade.

Yea, if you want her hair to turn out right with the curled tips turned towards the cheeks, then you'll need at least a wig that can stand up to heat. I'll look around for less expensive wigs but the quality will go down the cheaper they get.
