I remember I transformed some boots one time just by sewing what fabric I was going to use directly onto the boot. It hurt my hand like crazy but it actually looked decently well.

But for this, I really wouldn't know. I usually try and get the closest thing to my reference as humanly possible.

You can either make them from wood or you can make them from foam and fiberglass sheets. Wood is really the easier of the two in my opinion and you can do that by drawing a picture of the sword on a piece of paper. You draw it lifesize, just as you would want it, and you put it on a piece of wood. Y...

In order to keep the sleeves up, you'll need to either make their arm cuffs smaller than your arm so elastic will be the way to go. I like the idea Dante, but Ashley would say the same thing in that wires really aren't necessary to pull off the Advent or the old school look. Patience, hair cement (or Ice), hair dryer, and working upside down is really all you need.

You have to be skilled with sculpy to be able to get a good enough version of Tidus or Squall's necklace. Both of them are made from fine metals and the sculpy would be a cheap and cruel alternative. At any rate, I would just buy Squall's pendent already online and then make a template and rasin it ...
