I remember I transformed some boots one time just by sewing what fabric I was going to use directly onto the boot. It hurt my hand like crazy but it actually looked decently well.
But for this, I really wouldn't know. I usually try and get the closest thing to my reference as humanly possible.

You can either make them from wood or you can make them from foam and fiberglass sheets. Wood is really the easier of the two in my opinion and you can do that by drawing a picture of the sword on a piece of paper. You draw it lifesize, just as you would want it, and you put it on a piece of wood. Y...

In order to keep the sleeves up, you'll need to either make their arm cuffs smaller than your arm so elastic will be the way to go. With the wings, you can actually make a harness system in your necklace that will make the wings look like they float. See below if you want an image. http://www.cospla...

See, sculpy isn't hard to work with but it can be because it's commonly known to be brittle. But I didn't even mean crude alternative, I meant cruel. I would rather have a metal pendent than a sculpy one just because of my personality. But as with me, I learned how to work metals and resin long befo...

You have to be skilled with sculpy to be able to get a good enough version of Tidus or Squall's necklace. Both of them are made from fine metals and the sculpy would be a cheap and cruel alternative. At any rate, I would just buy Squall's pendent already online and then make a template and rasin it ...

I hear that lots of protein based foods will make it grow faster but I'm not 100% sure since my hair grows an inch every other 2 weeks, which is phenomenal speed in my opinion.

Well, even though I've done a Cloud wig before, they really aren't so hard to pull off as compared to the time that goes into it. Since you're doing it on real hair, the trick is to at least have the right length and then get styling products that are used for that sort of thing. I mean, there are a...

Just as a sidenote, the skirt can be done in any fabric you want but if you want to get it to poof out that much, you make a petticoat or buy one to fit underneath.

Fur Dying
I've searched for hours on forums and then on "Google", which was a mistake since I was lectured on all the sites about how wrong it is to kill animals for fur. Well, whatever! I finally decided to come here for advice since I couldn't find any advice anywhere else. How can I dye fur? It's a costume...

I just decided to put this here because for people that don't know where to get caulk can just get it from Katie Bair. She also sells a bunch of other supplies that I find very useful.

I agree with DantetheBlack partly. I believe that if you don't have enough time, don't wear the wing but for the next time, have it ready. The wing is the most defining feature of Kingdom Hearts Sephiroth and without it, you might as well just go with oridinary Sephiroth (or get ahead of the game an...

I'm at school right now in a very quiet room but reading this made me blush and chuckle! Everyone's staring! Thank you for the very nice compliment anyway! Bringing a picture to a store and asking for a pattern like it will do nothing but get the reply, "I'm sorry we don't have anything like that." Most of the time, you need to alter existing patterns or create your own. In response though to the original post, I have no patterns just laying around sin...
