Construction Details:

Patterns were taken from existing ones then mock-ups were done for the top- I did 3 variations for the top, before I settled on for the one you see in photo's.

rnThe wig.... well I took a stab and bought a character wig, and it ended up not looking like Ryuko's hair once I tried it on. I had a second wig on hand, that I combined, to help make it less of a bob, and it helped add volume and length. I also added some more red to her hair for the sweeping side bang, because the amount that was originally sewn in was too thin and didn't stand out!

Personal Thoughts:

I've been dreaming of doing Ryuko for the past couple years!! This was one of those shows I watched as it aired, and fell in love the animation and characters so much I knew I had to cosplay from it! Senketsu is seriously the most adorable uniform you'll ever meet :3
