About this Costume
Construction Details:
Costume is made from black & white pleather and black wet look spandex. I used a pattern for the bikini top, since I wanted to make sure it fit well, and macgyvered the patterns for everything else. The jacket has a functioning zipper, 3 functioning buckles, and all of the pleather details were carefully topstitched. The boots started off as bright yellow gogo boots and were covered in wet look spandex and white pleather details. Eye flame is made from a translucent plastic folder from staples.

The cannon is the third prop I've ever made. It's made out of a 6" cardboard shipping tube, 2 aluminum stove pipe reducers, and some craft foam and insulation foam. All of the foam pieces were patterned out and attached to one another before being attached to the cardboard and aluminum base. Once it was all assembled the cannon was covered in several layers of gesso and then a layer of bondo. The cannon was gessoed once more before being coated in black spray paint. The inside of the cannon is covered in aluminum foil and blue plastic; there are also 2 LED tap lights that were painted with blue nail polish.
Personal Thoughts:
Costume made for my cosplay teammate Sara. Sara styled her own wig, made both eye flames, and helped pattern out some of the pieces for her cannon.
